DV Performance Jazz Ensemble

Deer Valley Performance Jazz Ensemble is based in Glendale, Arizona USA. There are normally 20 - 24 members of the band performing on-stage at any one time. A typical configuration is as follows:

5 Saxophones (2 altos, 2 tenors, and 1 baritone)

5 Trombones

5 Trumpets / Fluglehorns

2 drummer / percussionists

1 bassist

1 pianist

1 guitar

DV Performance Jazz Ensemble has won a number of national competitions including the "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" National Jazz Competition in 2002 & 2006 (Second place in 2003 & 2004). The band also played the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival in 2006.
